Greening Growth: Empowering MSMEs in the Agriculture and Agri-Food sector
During this 24-month intervention, Acted aims to enhance the circular economy transition for MSMEs in agriculture and agri-food value chains in Lebanon’s Bekaa and Shouf regions. By analysing the MSME landscape, Acted will generate a circular economy value chain MSME support report. The project will empower 15 Micro Enterprises by providing increased income and job opportunities through gender equality training, resource and technical assessments, and the creation of tailored resource management and business support plans, along with in-kind and/or technical support. Additionally, 25 MSMEs will be supported for job creation, aligning with decent work standards through resource and technical gap assessments, business development, and a 3Zero training on a decent work, environmental protection, and inclusion plan. Finally, Acted will encourage community engagement through awareness campaigns, Climate-wise modules, and a 3Zero Circular Economy Forum as part of Acted’s 3Zero House initiative, fostering collaboration and promoting circular economy practices.

    Green Entrepreneurship
Eedama has established an expertise on social and responsible entrepreneurship in all its aspects, and has been working in particular in the Lebanese context that is made of multiple crises. On one hand, Eedama developed a complete training for startups, from ideation to organization of the company and pitching for it, including the work on the self and the individual. The complete training can last between 15 and 30 days. Each module has a duration of several days, and can still be delivered individually. On the other hand, Eedama created a number of sessions related to handling crises in the smoothest and most adapted way. A crisis being by definition an unknown change, we do not give any solutions, we give tools to a number of players to assess and evolve. Our programs are organized around three pillars: The self (the individual), the organization, the business (or funding) model.
