The Challenge

Food security dependency on import, lack of storage capacity for garlic, and the inconsistent job opportunities for garlic farms workers are the main challenges that Mezzmix tries to tackle in Lebanon. In addition, garlic farmers usually do not adhere to organic farming practices which endangers the soil and environment in the long term.

Our Solution

Producing sauces, seasonings, and condiments. Over time, it has emerged as one of the leading domestic producers of garlic paste and hummus [chickpeas paste]. Mezzmix aims to facilitate easier and more affordable access to garlic throughout the year by minimizing storage expenses. In addition, Mezzmix empowers local farmers by encouraging sustainable garlic cultivation practices. It seeks to reduce reliance on imported garlic.

Our Vision

Establish a new paradigm of production in Lebanon

Our Products and Services

Mezz’Mix has introduced an innovative product to the market by offering a squeezable garlic dip with a long shelf life of one year

Our Impact

Mezzmix is working with up to eight garlic farmers during high-production seasons. These farmers typically operate on a small scale; hence, Mezzmix will provide them with sustainable opportunities for growth. The low-income workers employed by the garlic farmers will benefit from sustained employment and business continuity.

Additionally, Mezzmix ensures work and income sustainability for the existing 11 employees, and it will also create another two job opportunities.
